Last night I was on KGET 17 News with Republican Cathy Abernathy. I wanted to make three points: Donald Trump was going to fear monger to his base, the vast majority of those who are here and undocumented have overstayed their visas and, finally, the threat Trump's trying to pump up does not rise to the level of a national emergency.
While we didn't have the time to get into the details of the issue (5-6 minutes is never enough), you can check out how (1) the vast majority of "illegals" did not cross the border, (2) the leading source country for overstaying visas is Canada, and (3) the number of undocumented people in America has dropped to its lowest level in decades by clicking here.
