For the historical geeks (like me) out there ...
Smithsonian Magazine has an interesting article on some of the historical lessons, and other findings, that followed the discovery of the largest Roman treasure of gold and silver coins ever. An interesting side note is the treasure wasn't found by seasoned archaeologists. It was accidentally stumbled upon by a man looking for a lost hammer.
