Guess what? In spite of what the America First crowd likes to believe, America is not #1 in a wide range of categories, like happiness, freedom, and gender equality. And we're far below Norway in a number of the quality of life and social justice areas that matter.
To be sure, we can quibble about the specific ordinal rankings for several of the topics below (depending on the source), but the point is made. The United States is not #1 in a host of categories. Not by a long shot.
However, when ranked against the 20 richest countries in the world, the United States is ranked #1 when it comes to infant mortality rates. That's an achievement, of sorts. So, my question is, where are the "pro-life" advocates on this one?
