When you have Fox News and the right-wing noise machine doing their thing, plus the Bully Pulpit under the control of a man like Donald Trump, we are one step closer to the slow drip of nationalist propaganda twisting and manipulating the truth on a regular basis.
Trump's lying and "fake news" cries may be exhausting, but they're achieving the larger goals of discrediting our nation's institutions and sowing the seeds of division. There's nothing inclusive or uplifting in Trump's message. Our recent 72 hours of hate-filled crimes from three hate-filled suspects makes this abundantly clear.
