AWARD WINNING AUTHOR JONATHAN KOZOL AT CSUB

If you're in the field of education, concerned about issues of social justice, or just a Jonathan Kozol fan, you will be happy to know that we have Mr. Kozol at the CSU Bakersfield campus today at 5 pm.

Jonathan Kozol has received the National Book Award for Death at an Early Age, the Robert F. Kennedy Book Award for Rachel and Her Children, and countless honors and awards for his other works, including Savage Inequalities.

Seating at the Walter W. Stiern Library is limited, so you should try and get there by 4:45 pm.

This event is co-sponsored by CSUB's Center for Social Justice and the School of Education, as well as The California Endowment. Several of Mr. Kozol's books will be available for sale at the event, with a book signing scheduled after his talk.
