SO, CONSERVATIVES ARE UPSET WITH FIVE ST. LOUIS RAMS PLAYERS? HERE'S A LITTLE PERSPECTIVE ...

So conservatives are upset about the political statement that five St. Louis Rams players made with their "hands up, don't shoot" gesture before their game with the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. For some perspective, let's consider the following ...

How many conservatives are upset that Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas have regularly headlined conservative political events, which violates Canon 4C of the Code of Conduct for U.S. Judges?

What about Justices Scalia and Thomas attending politically driven seminars put on by the very politically conservative Koch Industries?

The last time I looked no St. Louis Rams player holds influence or power over our national purse, sword, or scales of justice.

Justices Scalia and Thomas, as we all know, have a heavy hand on our nation's scale of justice. As representatives of our nation's highest court they have a professional duty to make every effort to appear beyond or removed from politics. It's an obligation that comes with the job.

If you're not complaining about two Supreme Court Justices regularly headlining and appearing at blatantly conservative events you really have no business complaining about five St. Louis Rams players making a political statement at a sporting event.

Just saying.
