SEN. TOM COBURN TAKING THE HIGH ROAD

This is an interesting turn. Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) not only defended Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), but actually singled out Fox News for villifying people the Republican Party might disagree with on policy issues. 

So don’t catch yourself being biased by FOX News that somebody is no good. The people in Washington are good. They just don’t know what they don’t know

After attending an event where Rep. Jim Costa spoke yesterday - where he discussed the levels of civility (or the lack thereof) in our political world - I have to say that listening to this clip of Sen. Coburn is a welcome development. There was no references to socialism, totalitarianism, Hitler/Nazis, the liberal demon from San Francisco, etc. And the tone appeared genuine. Listen to the audio. What he says in these clips is refreshing.

While some might be inclined to say that it was just a moment, it was a good moment. I'll take it.
