While the clip is funny we want to keep in mind that the United Nations was built on the idea that bringing nations together to talk in an open environment, on a regular basis, would help reduce the proclivity towards war by facilitating conversation. No one ever believed, or promised, that conflict and war could be eliminated.
On another level, many of the problems confronting the UN are pretty much orphan conflicts and issues. They are generally the issues that no one wants to deal with, which makes solving them problematic, if not near impossible. This is just one of the reasons that those who believe the United Nations is paving the path towards one world government need to think a little deeper about the issue.
