Keep in mind that all of this has happened with the Party of No acting like a political anchor around President Obama's neck. Impressive.

Obama's student loan reform bill is great. It cut the bankster's out that George Bush let in. It disgusted me when GWB upped the student loan amounts and let in private banks as middleman. Wall Street loved GWB
These banks enjoyed subsidies and bankruptcy exempt low risk loans. The interest rates had to be low initially but one missed payment and the student loan interest rate could spike to a high rate.
